AN INVITATION TO THE EFS CONGRESS

On behalf of EFS ,it is an honor and pleasure for me to invite and welcome you to the 15th EFS Congress that will be held virtually on 11-12 June 2021. Unfortunately, the negative impact of COVID-19 have been profound  changing  the daily  routine of our lives. Therefore we had to follow a different path  to maintain  our biannual congress by organizing it  virtually  to ensure the participants’ safety without leaving anyone behind and perhaps with further International engagement.

Despite all the odds, I have no doubt that EFS  will  deliver a high-quality scientific programme which hopefully will turn out to be a memorable experience as this will be the first time that our congress will be held virtually.  I believe that the scientific success of a congress depends on the contributions of the delegates and therefore I hope that many of you will be able to get actively involved in this congress.

The program will cover a wide range of  clinical and research topics that will be presented in different forms such as debates ,lectures, roundtables, workshops, symposia and poster sessions including themes such as challenges faced regarding sexual rights and safety during unprecedented times of the COVID-19.  The theme of the congress, ”All About Connection”,  reflects the importance of global cooperation and  collaboration instead of personal isolation which is vital not only in difficult times caused by the pandemic but also in our normal daily lives, to which hopefully we will return soon.

Until we meet again face to face, we are looking forward to meeting you virtually to keep connected, to  establish closer professional and social links, to reaffirm the continuous development of our community and to offer you a high-quality scientific program.

Stay safe and connected.

Cordial regards,
